These warm tones embody early Autumn to me. The light changes and you begin to notice that the days are getting shorter. The sourwood and hydrangeas become kissed with copper and rose and the last of the native perennials realize they better get their bloom on. This is time of year when I am driven to make HUGE arrangements for no other reason than to capture this fleeting beauty.
