Hy Zizzle (2004) First of all, I have to comment on the name of this fun anemone/novelty form: All summer, every time I cut it’s long stems, all I can think is  ‘If Martha Stewart and Snoop Dog had a dahlia naming brainstorm session together, Hy Zizzle would surely be one they came up with’ There’s a lot going on on these 2-3” flowers- not only does it make the ‘pincushion’ typical of anemone forms, it also boasts a nice ruffled collar whose petals are lighter than the main petals. I like the airy height and ferny foliage of the 3-4’ plant too.
