Lee’s Persimmon (2023) Matte, rosy orange, petals densely pack 3.5” FD flowers on 3.5-4’ plants earlier and as the days shorten in October, their flower form will become more variable as shown in the the second photo. Although I would normally consider this less that favorable, I really love the softening colors and changing form of this one in autumn. Long, strong, yet lean stems hold flowers at 45º angle through 3 flushes of blooms for me.
