Dahlia Lee’s Chloe
Dahlia Lee’s Chloe
Chloe (2023) You don’t want to go without this gorgeous, prodictive bicolor! 4” flowers shoot above the bushy plant pn long green stems in several flushes throughout the season. Chloe is technically a bicolor- the base color is apricot- and if they are developing blooms during periods of excess heat, apricot flowers may appear. In my experience, bicolor varieties of any origin will show their base color and they return to their ideal state when conditions neutralize.
Bicolor type dahlias always show variability, fluctuating with growing conditions like day length as well as day & night time temperatures. The degree of white tipping will fluctuate and this is normal.
