Dahlia Lee’s Moro Ice
Dahlia Lee’s Moro Ice
Moro Ice (2023) I am going to have a hard time letting go of any of this one because I am infatuated by the 5” bicolor blooms that are always a little different from one another. Their base color is a delicious juicy rose that reminds me of a blood orange and the degree of white tipping ranges. Even if it is a solid rose, it is just gorgeous!
4’ plants have long stems and multiple flushes of flowers.
Moro is a type of blood orange. Blood oranges have ruby flesh and are usually found in stores in the spring when they are at their peak.
Bicolor type dahlias always show variability, fluctuating with growing conditions like day length as well as day & night time temperatures. The degree of white tipping will fluctuate and this is normal.
